in 2020 and approved under the Leadership of Hon. Justice Tanko Muhammad, the Chief Justice of Nigeria; Mr. Abubakar Malami, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of Nigeria; and the Federal Ministry of Education and duly incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 as a legal entity Limited by Guarantee.

Since its registration, the Institute has been at the forefront promoting, enhancing, developing the domestication, knowledge, and practice of Business Development and Entrepreneurship in Nigeria and has gained the reputation as the preferred appointing authority and business ownership handling for a broad spectrum of Professional Business Developers and Entrepreneurs. Currently, we are continually been committed to Building our National presence by looking forward to creating more state branches in all the 36 states in Nigeria. These state branches will be managed by Fellows and Authorities appointed by the Institute. Also has Senatorial Committees on Company, Education, Business ownership, Entrepreneurial investment, Cooperate Business Management, Transportation, Banking and Finance, Construction and Real Estate, Energy and Power, Government Agencies and Ministries, Privatization, Trading, Small Scale Business, Manufacturing, Maritime and Admiralty, Public-Private Partnership and Concession, business management, Enterprise, and Telecommunication. The main strategies for the promotion of Business Development and Entrepreneurship adopted by the Nigerian Institute include advocacy, capacity building, research, Business referral services, strategic partnership, and programme development. Professionals setting up the nation benefits from training, seminars, conferences, and workshops on Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Business Plan Development, Business investment, and other forms of Business Development and Entrepreneurship offered by the Institute for Professional Business Developers and Entrepreneurs. As a member of the Institute, access to the Institute’s library, journals, newsletters, listing on the Institute’s faculty database, a panel of neutrals, business ideas, networking opportunities are granted amongst other benefits.
